Vance Badawey, Member of Parliament for Niagara Centre, in partnership with the Department of Geography and Tourism at Brock University, hosted a smart cities consultation. Professors, students, municipal government officials, and members of the public came together to discuss how we can make Niagara municipalities into smart cities.
Attendees discussed topics such as infrastructure, planning, transit, the economy, technology, and the cultural/social aspect of smart cities. There were a wide variety of views and ideas stemming from the discussion.
