Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Finance, MP Joel Lightbound, travelled to Niagara Centre on a post-Budget 2018 tour. MP Badawey had the opportunity to showcase our innovative post-secondary institutions. At Brock University, MP Badawey and PS Lightbound met with the Brock women’s wrestling team, who recently won multiple medals in competition. The wrestlers demonstrated various moves, and spoke with PS Lightbound about women in sport and why they chose Brock University. Speaking about Budget 2018, PS Lightbound highlighted how women in sport will be supported with funding!

PS Lightbound and MP Badawey also toured the welding labs to see these young women in action. Clearly talented, one student was able to show MP Badawey how to weld! Some of the tricks of the trade.
