From April 16-23, 2017, Vance Badawey, Member of Parliament for Niagara Centre, travelled to Taiwan as part of a Canadian Parliamentary delegation.
The delegation is meeting with several government members, as well as with business community, in order to strengthen the ties between Canada and Taiwan. Canadian officials, who were warmly received by their Taiwanese counterparts, had the opportunity to discuss a variety of issues including health care, seniors, and the economy.
